City maps and traffic routes
Just like NFL stars look for the best routes to the end zone, sports fans want to know the best way to get to the game. Consider this your playbook, and feel free to consult it often for the latest information on traffic routes to, in and around Glendale’s sports and entertainment district. In addition, the City of Glendale is coordinating with Kaku Associates to develop comprehensive transportation management plans for the upcoming city mega events. The city understands that hosting mega events will bring extraordinary levels of traffic to the city. Development of all-inclusive transportation management plans to proactively manage traffic associated with these events will ensure a high-quality experience for both visitors and local residents. Through the effort of the following specialty working groups, the plan will address vehicle access, parking, shuttle service, and traveler information.

In the continuing effort to improve the guest experience and the flow of traffic around the University of Phoenix Stadium, Jobing.com Arena and Westgate City Center during Cardinals Football games, the City of Glendale Arizona Cardinals, and Gorilla Companies have designated the YELLOW LOT for all taxis, sedans/town cars and limousines. There will be dedicated staff to manage the lot to ensure it is operated efficiently and fair. There is no cost for the use of this lot.
Please note that ALL taxis, sedans/town cars and limousines MUST DROP-OFF, STAGE and PICK UP IN THE YELLOW LOT LOCATED NEXT TO THE GLENDALE MEDIA & CONVENTION CENTER JUST SOUTH OF COYOTE BLVD. Absolutely no drop-offs or pick-ups will be allowed on Maryland, 95th , 93rd and 91st avenues, Bethany Home Road, or Sportsman’s Park.
The routes indicated on this map are designed to facilitate the fastest ingress and egress specially for vehicles-for-hire so that you may provide the highest level of service to your customers. The only access to the Yellow Lot is from the North, as shown on the map. Please follow these routes every time you come to the Stadium-area for Cardinals Football games.We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
